Title Abstractor Searcher I

The Title Abstractor Searcher I is responsible for supporting real estate transactions by assembling title packages and conducting title research to ensure successful escrow and title closings.
Responsibilities
- Conducts title research to compile search packages ranging in complexity, that require research and investigation
- Work may be done in an office, title plant or remotely traveling to court houses, municipalities and other government entities to perform the searches
- Primarily focused on residential transactions
- Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes
- Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities
- Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion
- Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members
- Individual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomy
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Skills
- High school diploma required
- Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
- Bachelor's preferred
