Your Role
Create and manage the project delivery schedule for the IMS domain
Support the Project Manager in creating the project schedule and resource management plan
Define required resources and align resource demand with DDM and TDL
Initiate, create, and deliver project technical documentation in line with customer and internal procedures
Deliver IMS design documents according to customer and project requirements
Deliver the IMS technical project scope, including:
Network functions deployment
Integration and upgrades
Acceptance testing
System performance evaluation
Act as the main technical advisor for all IMS-related topics toward project stakeholders
Define IMS software implementation strategy, including:
Target software versions for IMS Network Elements (NE)
Installation and upgrade sequence Dependencies
Define requirements for new software features needed for project completion and collaborate with R&D and Product Managers
Identify, manage, and mitigate technical project risks
Define and implement new tools (including automation) to improve project execution efficiency and provide feedback to tool developers
Lead and manage the IMS technical project team on a daily basis:
Assign tasks
Monitor execution
Coordinate engineers’ work according to customer expectations
Schedule and facilitate regular project technical meetings and report on:
Current status
Issues and risks
Forward plans
Ensure quality of all technical processes and procedures, including:
Customer network interventions
Administrative and technical preparation
Procedure development and lab rehearsals
Engineer instructions and decision-making during interventions
Provide RCA, corrective, and preventive action plans for failed interventions or customer-impacting incidents and ensure implementation
Manage closure and follow-up of all tickets raised toward Salesforce / 4LS / R&D
Consolidate, prioritize, and escalate technical tickets as required
Lead upgrade project kick-off calls and define upgrade requirements (maintenance window, traffic migration, SOW, deliverables, exclusions)
Define IMS software upgrade strategy and target versions for IMS Network Elements
Review project technical documents, release notes, and compatibility matrices in line with procedures
Create customer-facing upgrade assessment documents outlining fixes, bugs, and new features
Assign Network Elements for upgrade activities
Coordinate maintenance windows with customer and internal stakeholders during upgrades
Make technical decisions during EME calls and handle first-level escalations
Coordinate and communicate with customers and stakeholders on technical delivery topics
Provide weekly technical project status reports to management
Ensure proper care handover at project closure
Contribute to improving SCD Delivery Quality (DQ) KPIs, including evaluation of care case requirements
Your Profile
Strong experience in IMS domain technical project delivery
Proven background as a Technical Manager / Technical Project Lead
Solid understanding of IMS network elements and technologies, such as:
SBC
CFX
TAS
MSS
MGW
Experience with software upgrades, integrations, and acceptance testing
Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Product Management, Project Managers, and customers
Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, and delivery quality KPIs
Confident decision-maker in high-pressure production environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Familiarity with PMP / PMI methodologies is a strong advantage
