Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Listen carefully to podcasts and video audio files and transcribe them accurately and efficiently.

Ensure all transcripts are clear, coherent, and free of grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors.

Maintain consistency in formatting and style according to company guidelines.

Edit and proofread transcripts for quality assurance before final submission.

Manage multiple transcription projects simultaneously and meet agreed deadlines.

Collaborate with the editorial and content teams to clarify ambiguous audio or context when needed.

Protect confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• *

Exceptional proficiency in English, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Excellent active listening skills with the ability to discern different speakers, accents, and tones.

Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Familiarity with transcription software and tools is a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Good understanding of podcast and video content formats is preferred.
• Experience

Previous experience in audio transcription, particularly in podcasts or video content, is highly desirable.

Experience with transcription tools such as Express Scribe, Otter.ai, or similar platforms is an advantage.
