Turo, the world’s largest car-sharing marketplace, is seeking a skilled Trust & Safety Investigator to help ensure the security and integrity of their community. In this role, you will investigate and resolve cases involving fraud, missing vehicles, and safety-related incidents while supporting members of the Turo community.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Trust & Safety liaison for escalations from Customer Support, Claims, Leadership, and Law Enforcement
  • Provide exceptional support to members of the Canadian Turo community
  • Independently manage and prioritize an investigative caseload from intake through resolution, ensuring strong ownership and follow-through
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations and apply appropriate strategies for each case type, including leading interviews with suspects and victims
  • Develop a strong understanding of risk indicators through detailed reviews of user accounts and transactions to identify fraud and other high-risk activity
  • Communicate case progress, emerging trends, and key insights to team members and leadership to support continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement, external partners, and investigative counterparts
  • Lead or contribute to special projects as assigned by management and collaborate on team initiatives

  • Established relationships with Canadian law enforcement agencies are considered an asset
  • Experience with Kustomer, CRM platforms, Google Workspace, and MS Office preferred (Mac experience is a plus)
