They are seeking a User Experience (UX/UI) Designer to enhance user experience design through collaboration with industrial designers and usability professionals, delivering intuitive and compelling interfaces for both on and off boat experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design with Purpose: Deliver functional, high-impact designs that maximize usability, customer desire, and market success
  • Craft Exceptional Interfaces: Design and prototype intuitive, visually compelling user interfaces for embedded systems and mobile applications
  • Lead the Design Process: Own the end-to-end UX/UI journey—from discovery and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
  • Champion the User: Translate complex user needs and business objectives into elegant, user-centered solutions
  • Drive Consistency: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design execution across all digital touchpoints
  • Advance Design Systems: Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring scalability, consistency, and efficiency
  • Elevate Usability: Continuously improve product intuitiveness and accessibility through research, testing, and iteration
  • Align with Strategy: Ensure all design solutions support business goals, technical constraints, and brand standards
  • Be a Design Advocate: Promote a culture of:
  • Customer empathy and insight-driven design
  • Rapid, low-fidelity prototyping and iteration
  • Storytelling through user journeys and visual communication
  • Radical collaboration across disciplines

Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in User Experience/User Interface related field
  • 1 year of experience or previous internship experience
  • Understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design principles
  • Experience with consumer-facing digital products (mobile, connected vessel platforms)
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing insights into actionable design
  • Exposure to Figma and familiar with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator)
