Virtual Mental Health Therapist

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Virtual Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality mental health services through a telehealth platform. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting diverse populations (incuding various religions and spiritual practices) and incorporating holistic practices into therapy. Supervision for licensure as a counselor will be provided if needed. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on clients’ mental well-being, utilizing a broad range of therapeutic modalities and clinical expertise.

Duties
• Provide 10-15 counseling sessions a week via telehealth, incorporating holistic methods and traditional therapeutic modalities.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize ICD coding for diagnoses and CPT coding for billing purposes.
• Stay current with clinical research developments and integrate best practices into therapy sessions.

Qualifications
• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field; licensure is preferred but not required. Supervision for licensure as a counselor can be provided.
• Experience in psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, grief counseling, and behavioral therapy.
• Ability to handle crisis situations effectively and manage complex cases.
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Pay: $31,200.00 - $60,000.00 per year
