About the Role
We are seeking a Vice President, Partner Success to serve as a strategic advisor and system-level account leader for a portfolio of health systems. This role will operate at the intersection of strategy, performance improvement, and system-level growth, guiding C-suite partners through complex decisions while shaping and executing multi-year partnership strategies. The right person will bring a consultative mindset, using data, market insight, and deep healthcare expertise to influence executive decision-making, unlock new growth pathways, and drive measurable performance at these accounts. This leader serves as:
Strategic advisor to health system executives
System and region growth leader across service lines and geographies
Integrator of Sound’s clinical, operational, and commercial capabilities
Quarterback of a matrixed, cross-functional delivery model
Success in this role requires the ability to simultaneously shape strategy, drive execution, and influence at the highest levels of partner organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
System Relationship & Strategic Advisory
Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships with C-suite and senior operational leaders across assigned health systems
Serve as a thought partner to executive stakeholders by delivering data-driven insights and market intelligence that inform strategic priorities
Lead executive-level performance, strategy, and growth discussions that position Sound as a long-term strategic partner
System Retention & Expansion
Define and execute the system-level growth strategy in coordination with service line leaders that includes retention, expansion, and new service line development across assigned accounts
Identify and advance opportunities by demonstrating a comprehensive view of Sound’s capabilities and how they align to partner needs
Shape and structure tailored partnership solutions that drive measurable improvements in total account contribution margin and year over year revenue growth
Consultative Solution Development
Apply a consultative, hypothesis-driven approach to identifying partner challenges and designing solutions
Translate complex clinical, operational, and financial dynamics into actionable strategies and engagement plans
Enable and guide the development of scopes of work, including facilitation of executive alignment and contract approval processes
System Performance & Execution
Define annual targets, including revenue growth, performance improvement opportunities, and long-term value creation as a strategic partner
Ensure consistent, high-quality execution of contractual commitments across clinical and operational service lines
Proactively identify and resolve performance gaps or service delivery issues to maintain strong partner satisfaction
Growth Enablement
Align account management within the overall Growth team strategy and Partner Success framework
Lead and engage across a matrixed, cross-functional team consisting of clinical, operations, finance, and growth functions to support new commercial structuring within existing accounts
Partner with the Business Development team on coordinated system strategies and opportunities

Knowledge and Experience
10+ years healthcare account leadership experience
Experience managing complex hospital system relationships
Strong executive presence and consultative selling capability
Deep understanding of healthcare financial, operational, and clinical drivers
MBA or advanced healthcare/business degree preferred
Salary Range
This position offers an annual salary range of $190,000-$220,000. Exact salary will depend on the candidate’s experience, education and geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a performance based incentive plan.
