Business Description

We are building a new ecommerce retail brand focused on Walmart Marketplace. This is an early stage startup with a long term vision. The goal is to build a scalable, compliant, and profitable Walmart store that can grow into a multi product operation.

This is not a short term gig or a quick flip. We are looking to build something real. As the store grows, the team grows with it. The right person will have long term upside, increasing responsibility, and the opportunity to help shape systems, processes, and strategy from the ground up.

We value execution, accountability, and transparency. This role is for someone who understands Walmart Marketplace, knows how to operate inside it day to day, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment.

Position Overview

Walmart Marketplace Store Manager and Operations Lead

We are hiring a Walmart Marketplace expert to help manage and scale our store. This person will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Walmart seller account as well as administrative and operational functions tied to store performance.

You will work directly with ownership. Decisions will be fast. Feedback will be direct. Growth will be earned.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Store Operations

Manage the Walmart Seller Center account daily

Monitor account health, performance metrics, and compliance

Handle listings creation, optimization, and maintenance

Manage pricing, inventory levels, and product availability

Oversee order processing, fulfillment coordination, and tracking

Monitor cancellations, returns, refunds, and chargebacks

Respond to Walmart performance alerts and policy notices

Listing and Catalog Management

Create and optimize product listings for visibility and conversion

Manage images, titles, descriptions, attributes, and keywords

Ensure listings remain compliant with Walmart policies

Troubleshoot suppressed or unpublished listings

Inventory and Fulfillment

Coordinate inventory forecasting and replenishment

Work with suppliers, distributors, or fulfillment partners

Track inbound and outbound inventory

Prevent stockouts and overstock situations

Customer Service and Issue Resolution

Handle customer messages and cases inside Walmart

Resolve delivery issues, refunds, and disputes

Manage feedback, reviews, and seller ratings

Escalate issues when necessary and follow through to resolution

Administrative and Reporting

Track daily and weekly sales performance

Prepare simple performance reports and insights

Monitor fees, payouts, and settlement reports

Coordinate with bookkeeping or management on financial data

Help establish standard operating procedures as the business grows

Growth and Optimization

Identify opportunities to improve conversion, margins, and efficiency

Support product launches and category expansion

Assist with advertising or promotional strategy if applicable

Help build scalable systems and workflows
