Job Description The Role The Warranty Performance OWT Bill Dispute Resolution Lead quickly and effectively resolves supplier OWT bill disputes in the GM PartLink system. The role requires the ability to analyze OWT bill disputes then quickly and effectively resolve them. Considerable initiative, attention to detail and independent judgement is required.

A successful candidate will demonstrate ability to: • Have strong initiative to quickly respond and resolve supplier OWT bill disputes • Learn and understand the OWT process • Understand GM's Ordinary Warranty Terms (OWT) • Work effectively in PartLink • Work with large Microsoft Excel data files • Engage and communicate with GM cross functional partners (Purchasing, Engineering, Quality) • Communicate clearly with suppliers • Help remove roadblocks and escalate as needed This role involves a high level of independent judgment and ingenuity. The ability to work cross functionally and with various levels of management is a necessity. What You'll Do • Resolve supplier disputes OWT Bills in PartLink • Research OWT Bill claim disputes to determine validity • Communicate with Suppliers to resolve OWT Bill disputes • Communicate with Suppliers how the OWT process works • Communicate with GM cross functional teams to help understand and resolve disputes (Purchasing, Engineering and Quality) • Escalate when needed to Warranty Performance management • Engage Purchasing where commercial engagement and discussion is required • Support Transaction Maintenance activities within PartLink Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) • 3+ years of experience with major automotive OEM or Supplier • Strong drive for results and history of driving high performance teams • Excellent organizational skills • Evidence of strong framing and communication skills • Understanding of many aspects of the business: including Purchasing, Engineering and Finance • Negotiation skills • Preferred ability to understand & interpret warranty data • High level of analytical ability where problems are complex • Excellent interpersonal skills to lead teams to consensus • Ability to work independently, in ambiguous situations and out of process GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
