As a Workday Certified HCM Consultant, Scheduling, you will ensure successful deployment by architecting, configuring, and testing Workday solutions to meet the specific needs of the client. Foster the development of other Consultants by sharing expertise. May support proposal preparations, deliver demonstrations to clients, and speak at conferences.

This remote role can be located anywhere within the United States to perform the required responsibilities.

KEY EXPECTATIONS

Provide expertise in the Workday Scheduling and Core HCM product suite, with deep expertise and experience in Scheduling

Lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully:

Gather and document client business requirements

Design and configure the Workday solution

Demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems

Assist in testing the Workday solution

Complete knowledge transfer to clients

Work with confidential client/data conversion teams to help convert legacy data into Workday

Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions

Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model while coaching others on product knowledge and implementation methodology

Communicate clearly and concisely while collaborating effectively on team-based projects

Work with team members to address complex tasks and requirements when additional support is needed

Facilitate clients’ intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices

Maintain clients’ ongoing satisfaction, ensuring Intecrowd is referenceable and referable once in production

Provide regular status reports to project managers, keeping them informed of overall project status, risks, and dependencies

Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively

Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications

Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation and integrations

Assist integrators in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and external systems

Demonstrate computational thinking by identifying problem components, analyzing patterns, removing inefficient configurations or processes, and designing scalable solutions that support long-term client needs

Contribute to and foster a culture of continuous education amongst colleagues, mentees, and managers

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on Scheduling best practices, workforce planning considerations, and operational process improvements

Provide insightful status reports to project managers that highlight risks to project health and opportunities to improve client adoption

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Current Workday Partner Certification in Scheduling

Additional Workday HCM Certification preferred

4+ years of experience configuring and implementing Workday Scheduling solutions

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Previous consulting experience with a consulting or software company

Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, UKG, ADP, Kronos, or similar workforce management applications

Demonstrated project management experience

Functional experience in one or more of the following areas:

Scheduling

Core HCM

Time Tracking

Absence

Workforce Management

Experience designing and configuring:

Scheduling Rules

Shift Planning

Shift Assignment

Staffing Models

Worker Availability

Labor Optimization Processes

Passion for providing exceptional customer service

Ability to effectively manage timelines, priorities, and project goals

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong business analysis and requirements gathering abilities

Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training

Experience deploying multiple HCM or Workforce Management projects simultaneously is a plus

Expected travel is approximately 20%, depending on project requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with end-to-end Workday deployments

Experience integrating Scheduling with Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, and Core HCM

Experience leading client workshops, solution demonstrations, and design sessions

Ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development initiatives

Strong understanding of workforce planning, labor scheduling, and operational staffing requirements across industries such as healthcare, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, or services organizations

Experience supporting Workday releases, testing cycles, and change management activities related to Scheduling functionality
