Working Student – AI Projects & HR Innovation Europe (m/f/d)

Your mission

Are you fascinated by the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence and eager to shape the future of Human Resources? We are looking for a curious and hands-on Working Student (15–20 hours per week) to join our People & Culture team and help shape the future of HR through AI. You will play an active role in designing and building AI-powered tools and agents that make everyday HR interactions smarter and more intuitive — for the People & Culture team, employees and managers alike.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and hands-on HR operations, turning concepts like automated talent workflows, smart FAQs, and AI-driven skill mapping into reality. 
 
As part of the People & Culture AI Projects team, you will: 
Support in designing and building AI agents that support employees and managers with HR-related questions, workflows, and decisions
Prototype and iterate on conversational AI tools (e.g.chatbots, automated workflows) using modern AI frameworks and APIs
Work closely with the People & Culture team to analyze and map existing processes  and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and simplification
Contribute to tool configuration and integration with internal systems
Develop, refine, and maintain system prompts and agent behaviors to ensure high-quality, compliant, and empathetic outputs fitting our corporate culture

Your profile

Enrolled studentin a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Human Resources with a strong tech focus, or a similar field of study
Hands-on experience integrating AI into daily operations — from identifying automation opportunities to building agents and automated workflows
Genuine interest in AI / LLMs and a desire to build things that people actually use
Structured, solution-oriented working style: You enjoy solving complex problems, structuring messy  workflows, and learning new software tools quickly
You understand that HRrequiresa balance of efficiency and empathy, and you want to use AI to augment human capabilities, not replace them
Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus
Available for at least 6months and enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the working student contract
