pspanspanspanThe YBASE Site Coordinator is responsible for the leadership, guidance, support and supervision of children ages 4-14 years of age in the day-to-day operation of the YBASE Program.  In addition, every position in the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc is responsible for upholding the Judeo-Christian principles that are central to our mission by modeling behaviors that exemplify the four pillars of character - caring, honesty, respect and responsibility./span/span/span/p

lispanspanspanMust engage actively while interacting with and supervising/spanspan groups of children indoors and outdoors./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanPlans, schedules and implements curriculum to group in coordination with the Program Director to include setting up interest centers and gross motor equipment and activities indoors and outdoors./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanMaintaining daily attendance reports, assigned records and other routine clerical tasks including supply and material ordering./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanCoordinating the transition of supervision between school day and parent pickup. To include ensuring children are properly signed in out of the program and, if being transported by the YMCA, maintain accurate transportation records./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanIf assigned to transportation duties, ensure all state requirements are met including proper supervision and maintaining accurate bus logs and checklists. /span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanGreet and integrate participants into the program and prepares children for parent pick up by assisting them with gathering supplies and signing in and out of the program./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanPerforms general housekeeping tasks to include sanitizing and disinfecting YBASE areas and supplies to maintain health and safety standards./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanDistribute snacks and meals in accordance with the regulations set forth by Second Harvest and the YMCA including maintaining accurate meal counts. Submits snack counts and attendance to Second Harvest and cafeteria manager./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanUpholds YMCA standards of professionalism in conduct, dress, and decorum. /span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanTreats participants, families and staff with fairness, dignity and respect including but not limited to tone and all verbal communication./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanResponsible for all legal caregivers/guardian communication including developmental or behavioral challenges./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanImplementing Quality Rated practices and holding staff accountable according to Quality Rated and state licensing standards including meeting teacher : participant ratios./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanParticipates in program feedback initiatives and participates in family engagement events. /span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanAppropriately receives feedback from supervisors and state and YMCA audits and makes changes accordingly./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanResponsible for maintaining accurate files for staff and participants including an understanding of CORE and collection of immunization records./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanRequired to report suspicions of child abuse and or neglect as a Mandated Reporter and provide documentation./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanAttends all staff meetings and in-service training programs as directed./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanProvides staff development including action plans and disciplinary action notices as well as participates in the hiring of new staff when asked by leadership team./span/span/span/li
lispanspanspanEnsures YBASE policies and procedures are followed by self and staff, supervise staff and volunteers./span/span/span/li
