YouTube Shorts Editor for Dr. NoSleep® Horror Podcast (Audio Provided)

We run a top-performing horror podcast and are expanding our content onto YouTube Shorts. We're looking for a reliable and creative video editor who can turn our existing audio clips into engaging, high-retention YouTube Shorts (15–30 seconds).

We’ll provide the voiceover + sound-designed audio—your job is to bring it to life visually and captivate viewers.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Create short-form vertical videos (9:16) using our audio

- Add engaging visuals (stock footage, eerie imagery, AI-generated visuals, etc.)

- Include captions (stylized for horror: dramatic text, animated emphasis)

- Ensure pacing, vibe, and visuals match the tension and tone of horror storytelling

- Deliver final .mp4 + custom thumbnail ready for upload to YouTube Shorts

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience editing YouTube Shorts

- Strong sense of pacing and visual storytelling (especially horror/thriller vibes)

- Proficiency in tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or Canva

- Ability to work quickly and meet weekly deadlines (3 Shorts/week)

- Bonus if you know how to optimize titles/thumbnails for Shorts (not required)

We Provide:

- Fully edited audio clips (no audio work needed on your end)

- Clear creative direction and examples

- Option for ongoing, long-term work if it’s a good fit

Budget:

- $15 per 15-30 second Short

- Open to weekly bundles (e.g., 3 Shorts/week for $45)
