About Fisch Group

Fisch Group is a boutique advisory firm providing fractional CFO and accounting to founders, family offices, and private businesses. We work closely with entrepreneurs and principals across a range of industries, including real estate, consumer brands, hospitality, and professional services. Our work is highly hands-on, detail-oriented, and relationship-driven, with a strong emphasis on building clean financial systems and acting as long-term strategic partners to our clients.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function across a group of related personal, investment, and operating entities. This role will oversee all bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting, while managing a small team of bookkeepers and serving as the primary financial point of contact for the family office.

This role functions as the financial backbone of the organization — responsible for clean books, strong controls, high-quality reporting, and seamless coordination with external advisors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, judgment-oriented, and comfortable operating in a multi-entity, high-trust environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role: you will both do and review the work.

Cash Management & Controls

Track and reconcile cash across numerous bank and credit card accounts

Manage intercompany transactions, loans, reimbursements, capital contributions, and distributions

Implement and maintain strong cash controls and approval processes

Proactively monitor balances and flag anomalies

Lead month-end close across all entities

Prepare and review financial reporting, including:

Balance sheets and income statements

Cash flow and liquidity summaries

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and comparability over time

Systems & Process Development
