Accounting/Back Office Role
AVA Technologies is a utility solutions company dedicated to simplifying complex processes. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, performing revenue reconciliations, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (invoicing, payments, vendor/customer follow-up)
- Perform revenue reconciliations and support month-end close activities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks (coding transactions, journal entries, maintaining ledgers)
- Prepare and update Excel-based reports and reconciliations
- Assist with documenting processes and improving accuracy/efficiency
Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Clear communication and ability to meet deadlines
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or in progress)
- 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with revenue reconciliation and bank/credit card reconciliations
