Riverside Community Care is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to join their Program of Assertive Community Treatment. The role involves coordinating all non-clinical program operations and supporting the multi-disciplinary team in providing mental health services to individuals with serious mental illness.

Responsibilities

  • Operating and coordinating information management systems
  • Organizing and maintaining electronic and paper medical records
  • Creating billing, insurance, and accounting reports and budget records
  • Leading/organizing each morning meeting; taking notes and updating contact sheets
  • Answering phones and triaging calls to coordinate communication between the team and persons served
  • Providing additional in-person support to coordinate program and person served needs in addition to scheduling appointments between persons served and the team’s psychiatric prescriber(s)
  • Facilitating person served transportation to appointments via ride-sharing apps

Skills

  • Excellent computer skills (including MS Office, Word & Excel) required
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to effectively perform job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working in human services or medical field strongly preferred
