California Department of Justice is seeking an Analyst I to provide business analysis and support services to the Record Management Branch. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert on the criminal history repository and assisting with various analysis, training, and outreach services.

Responsibilities

  • Provides business analysis and support services to the Record Management Branch
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on the entire arrest and disposition lifecycle
  • Assists on a broad range of governmental and managerial problems associated with maintaining the state criminal history repository
  • Provides assistance on all analysis, training, outreach, and support services related to the branch and the processes, procedures, and practices associated with collecting, processing, maintaining, and storing criminal history information
  • Assists with performing and analyzing studies and surveys
  • Drafts policies and procedures
  • Develops training materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assists with assignments and special projects such as workload analysis, procedure and legal mandate review, legislative review, and administrative support
