ANALYST II
Caltrans District 3 is seeking a Return to Work Coordinator to provide administrative, training, and analytical support for the Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work Program. The role involves managing cases for employees with workers' compensation claims, consulting on medical issues, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective resolution of employment status.
Responsibilities
- Consulting with employees, supervisors, and managers regarding medical issues, reasonable accommodation, return to work, and other related concerns
- Coordinating with various stakeholders regarding assigned cases
- Reviewing and interpreting medical reports to determine the most appropriate course of action
- Maintaining accurate and complete case documentation using electronic daim files housed in a shared network drive, spread sheets, and database
- Evaluating, authorizing, and/or recommending claim settlement solutions
- Facilitating resolution of employment status for employees unable to return to work in their usual occupation
- Utilizing good organization/time management techniques to appropriately prioritize and complete work in a timely and accurate manner
- Displaying a positive attitude, and cultivating a team environment to help accomplish the Division's Missions and Goals
Skills
- Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
