Duration: Fall 2026 – 8 months (September 2026 – April 2027)

 

Availability: *Full-time availability of 37.5 – 40 hours weekly is required to be eligible for this opportunity.

About the opportunity:

The Application Advisor Intern supports the Sales and Solution Advisory teams by helping prepare client-facing materials, demonstrations, and responses that clearly communicate the business value of Dayforce solutions. This role is ideal for a business student who is interested in how enterprise software is positioned, sold, and tailored to solve real customer problems.

 

You will work closely with Solution Advisors, Sales leaders, and other internal partners to understand customer needs, translate those needs into compelling solution narratives, and help ensure sales teams are well-prepared for client conversations.

What you’ll get to do:

Support the Sales and Solution Advisory Teams

Assist Solution Advisors in preparing for client demonstrations by organizing content, tailoring scenarios, and validating messaging

Collaborate with sales teams to shape how Dayforce solutions are positioned to address a client’s business challenges

Support responses to RFIs and RFPs by gathering information, organizing inputs, and ensuring responses are clear, accurate, and aligned to customer needs

Help coordinate responses to questions from the Sales Organization by working with subject matter experts and leveraging the Dayforce Knowledgebase

Assist sales teams in understanding and documenting customer business requirements for new and expanding client opportunities

 

Develop Business and Product Understanding

Build foundational knowledge of Dayforce’s HCM solutions and how they support HR, payroll, workforce management, and talent strategies

Develop an understanding of common customer challenges in the HCM space and how technology helps address them

Stay informed on HCM industry trends and evolving customer expectations to support more effective sales conversations

Apply critical thinking and business analysis skills to support solution positioning and storytelling

 

Support Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a point of coordination between Sales, Solution Advisory, Product, and Implementation teams during sales cycles

Help communicate prospect and customer requirements internally to ensure alignment and follow-through

Participate in internal and external solution presentations as appropriate, primarily in a support role

Assist in identifying opportunities to improve internal processes, documentation, and sales enablement materials

Review upcoming product enhancements and help ensure key updates are reflected in demos and supporting materials

 

Skills and experience we value:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, HR, Management, Analytics, or a related field

Strong attention to detail with the ability to think critically and ask good questions

Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with a business-first mindset

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

 

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a customer-facing, sales support, or consulting-style role

Interest in enterprise software, SaaS, or business applications

Familiarity with AI tools for research, summarization, or productivity (not development)

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or visualization tools such as Power BI

Additional language skills (French or other)
