Associate Performance Marketing Analyst
CarGurus is the largest and fastest-growing automotive marketplace, committed to bringing trust and transparency to car shopping. They are seeking an Associate Performance Marketing Analyst to support their International Mid-Funnel growth through the management and performance analysis of traffic acquisition campaigns across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own with media activation, including the accurate deployment of placements, ads, and creative assets within Campaign Manager 360 (CM360)
- Build and structure international campaigns within key platforms, including Demand & Video 360 (DV360), Meta, and other social channels
- Develop, implement, and analyze the performance of new audience targeting strategies to increase the relevance and quality of site and app traffic
- Serve as a subject matter expert for mid-funnel data, utilizing CM360, internal attribution systems, and Media Mix Modeling (MMM) inputs to monitor and measure channel effectiveness
- Monitor daily campaign performance and audience targeting to ensure campaigns are performing as expected and meeting quality standards
- Own the accuracy of campaign spending by maintaining and reconciling budget, invoicing, and billing trackers for all international activity
- Own and maintain core performance dashboards, conducting deep-dive analysis to interpret inconsistent trends, spot anomalies, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
- Collaborate closely with the Brand/Creative team to coordinate asset delivery, manage creative rotation, and test new ad formats to drive performance gains
- Identify, explore, and run testing in new and emerging mid-funnel channels to expand the program’s reach and efficiency
- Communicate campaign results, key insights, and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders and senior leadership
Skills
- 0-2 years of professional experience in digital marketing, finance, analytics, or a related field
- Familiarity with, or a strong desire to learn, major ad technology and trafficking tools (Campaign Manager 360, DV360, Google Ads)
- Exceptionally detail-oriented: You take pride in data accuracy and checking your work
- Strong analytical mindset: You are comfortable working with numbers and translating data into clear takeaways
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivots, vlookups) and PowerPoint is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment
- Eager to learn, ask questions, and take initiative on operational tasks
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or social science major (e.g., math, statistics, economics, marketing)
- Exposure to SQL or business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau) is a plus
