Business Development Manager - Bilingual in Mandarin
Flexispot Inc. is a globally recognized leader in ergonomic health and smart office solutions, and they are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead their expansion into key offline channels across the U.S. This role involves identifying and onboarding new retail, distribution, and wholesale partners while managing local sales initiatives to unlock new market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential distributors, dealers, retail chains, and local partners
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through face-to-face visits, emails, and calls
- Drive lead generation, outreach, and onboarding of local business partners
- Gather and report on local market insights, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback
- Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and logistics teams to support successful go-to-market execution
- Support sales pipeline tracking, revenue forecasting, and performance optimization
- Represent the company at regional trade shows, local industry events, and client meetings
Skills
- 0-1 years of experience in business development, sales, or channel expansion (retail/wholesale background preferred)
- Strong understanding of U.S. offline retail or distribution ecosystem
- Track record of independently sourcing and closing channel partnerships
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
