Carrier Liaison Coordinator
Marsh McLennan Agency Midwest is a full-service brokerage providing business insurance and employee benefits. The Carrier Liaison Coordinator will support the agency's efforts to build relationships with insurance carriers and manage carrier contracts and communications.
Responsibilities
- Support the agency’s efforts to build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers
- Serve as a key communications link, keeping production teams informed about carrier developments and performance
- Manage carrier contracts, appointments, and help coordinate carrier resources for training and special projects
Skills
- Ability to manage carrier relationships and communications effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Being a self-starter; a highly organized problem solver with good time management skills to maintain databases and licensing records
- Detail orientation and the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks
- Experience reviewing and managing insurance carrier contracts and appointment obligations
- Property & Casualty license preferred, or the ability to obtain upon hire
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
