Collection Specialist
RemoteHunter is seeking Remote Collections Specialists to manage inbound and outbound calls for payment collections on various accounts. The role requires strong customer service and negotiation skills to achieve positive outcomes while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls promptly and professionally to perform collections
- Use negotiating and customer service skills to achieve positive outcomes
- Comply with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in Collections, Call Center, or Customer Service involving public contact
- Ability to accurately enter and update data on company or client systems
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Focus on customer service and deliverables
- Flexibility to work evenings, Saturdays, and varied schedules as needed
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Broadband internet (no DSL or Dial Up) with hard-wired connection (no Wi-Fi or hotspots)
- Minimum internet speed: 40 mbps download, 5 mbps upload
- Cameras must remain on from training start through scheduled shifts, except during breaks and lunch; post-training camera use as directed
