Compliance Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant South African legislation and regulations
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks
Conduct regular internal compliance audits and risk assessments
Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements
Manage FICA, POPIA, and FAIS compliance processes where applicable
Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies
Stay current with legislative changes and communicate their impact to the business
Qualifications and Experience
3+ years of experience in a compliance, risk, or regulatory role
Strong knowledge of South African financial services or business regulation
Excellent analytical and report-writing skills
High attention to detail and commitment to ethical conduct
Ability to interpret legislation and translate it into practical policies
Strong communication skills with regulators and internal stakeholders
Ability to manage compliance deadlines independently in a remote setting
Degree in Law, Commerce, Risk Management, or related field preferred
Salary: R38,000/month | 100% Remote
