The Credit Investor & Pricing Analyst evaluates the credit impact of complex consumer financing structures—including asset-backed securitizations (ABS), warehouse credit facilities, and other structured finance vehicles—and supports the pricing of new consumer loans to optimize risk-adjusted returns.

Essential Functions
Analyze complex financing structures and underlying collateral pools, including ABS transactions and warehouse facilities

Develop trend reporting to track actual vs. modeled performance across structural features such as credit enhancements, advance rates, covenants, loss triggers, and prepayment rates

Assess how structural components impact deal performance and return profiles

Build and maintain financial models to project returns on consumer loan portfolios and funding costs

Support pricing strategies for new consumer loans to optimize profitability and risk-adjusted returns

Conduct sensitivity analyses (e.g., default rates, credit costs, product structure) to inform pricing and risk mitigation decisions

Recommend interest rates, yield targets, and advance rates based on data insights and market benchmarks

Support structuring of financing transactions by recommending credit enhancements and risk mitigation strategies

Evaluate and suggest collateral requirements, triggers, and covenants (e.g., delinquency or loss triggers)

Partner with senior team members to optimize deal structures for investor protection and capital efficiency

Collaborate with Credit, Finance, Capital Markets, and Servicing teams to develop reporting and financial models

Partner with Credit Analytics to ensure consistency in assumptions and outputs

Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required, or commensurate work experience, required

7 years of experience in credit analysis, financial modeling, or a related role within financial services

Experience in consumer lending, structured finance, banking, or credit investing strongly preferred

Strong understanding of credit risk fundamentals and structured finance products

Familiarity with consumer lending products (e.g., personal loans, auto loans, credit cards, student loans) and their funding structures (ABS, warehouse facilities)

Knowledge of credit metrics such as FICO, debt-to-income, default rates, and credit enhancement techniques

Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling

Experience building cash flow models, performing sensitivity analyses, and working with large datasets

Familiarity with portfolio analysis techniques (e.g., cohort, vintage/static pool analysis)

Experience with SQL, Python, or similar tools is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis clearly

Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build effective working relationships

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

This position is an office-based position where you must be able to sit for long periods of time. The employee will be working on a computer 90% of the time.
