Customer Service Representative (Insurance)
Avalon Risk Management is a specialty insurance broker focusing on risk management and insurance products for the international trade and logistics industry. The Customer Service Representative role involves supporting Account Managers, servicing a book of business, and assisting clients with policy-related inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Attaining and maintaining an IL Property and Casualty license
- Supporting Account Managers in servicing a book of business and working with clients to answer policy questions, update account changes, assist with premium collections, fielding phone calls, and more
- Working within our Agency Management System, EPIC and INDIO to create marketing submissions, proposals, Binders, and Certificate of Insurance to name a few
Skills
- Some professional customer support experience and/or formal business education
- Capability of attaining an IL Property & Casualty license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Close attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Insurance experience
