Responsibilities:

Supports Chief Accountant and external tax and accounting provider in the preparation of data and financial statements according to US and local GAAP

Supports the process of tax returns and reports (SAFTs billing, VAT, CIT, WHT, stamp duty tax, transfer pricing, etc.)

Prepares reports for the local bank,

Supports the month/year-end process, including the preparation of monthly financial reports, accounts reconciliation, group reporting

Assists with internal and external audits; cooperates with external tax and accounting provider, controlling team

Performs other tasks indicated by the supervisor

Cooperates with other departments in the company, group

Prepares and posts journal entries

Posts purchase and T&E documents

Delivers of services in line with agreed procedures

Investigate processing errors in the respective areas of responsibility

Proactively suggest improvement ideas to drive continuous improvement

Manages accounting process from beginning to the end

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

Min.3-4 years in GL area

Knowledge of accounting/taxes

Knowledge of US GAAP will be an asset

Strong skills in MS Excel

Knowledge of SAP

English at a very good level

High degree of proactiveness and self-reliance

Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
