E-commerce Graphic Designer [LATAM]
About Americanflat:
Americanflat makes affordable, curated home décor — wall art, frames, and gallery sets — for people who want their walls to feel like home without hiring a designer. *Walls that welcome you home.* We sell direct-to-consumer through our Shopify store and across major marketplaces (Amazon, Wayfair, Target, Walmart, Kohl's, Macy's, Michaels, and more). Visuals are how a décor brand wins or loses online — and this role owns them.
About the Role:
We're looking for an E-commerce Graphic Designer to create the visual assets that sell our products everywhere they appear: marketplace listings, our Shopify storefront, emails, ads, and social. This is a production-meets-craft role — you'll work fast and ship a high volume of assets, but everything that leaves your hands has to look like it came from one brand, because it did.
You'll work from our brand guidelines (we have a real one — typography, color system, photography direction) and be expected to both follow it rigorously and push it forward where e-commerce contexts demand it. In a category where the product IS the visual, your work is the merchandising.
What You'll Do:
Amazon & Marketplaces Listing Content
- Design Amazon listing assets: main images, secondary/infographic images, comparison charts, A+ Content (Premium A+ a plus), and Brand Store pages
- Create listing imagery for DTC, Wayfair, Target, Walmart, and other marketplace channels, adapted to each platform's specs and style requirements
- Design dimension callouts, size-comparison graphics, and "what's included" visuals that reduce returns and answer questions before they're asked
DTC: Site, Email & Ads
- Design Shopify storefront assets: homepage heroes, collection banners, landing pages, and promotional takeovers
- Create email designs and modular template blocks in partnership with our email marketer (Klaviyo)
- Produce paid ad creative for Meta, Google, and Pinterest — statics, carousels, with the volume and variation a testing program needs
- Design promotional campaign visuals for tentpole moments: Black Friday/Cyber Monday, holiday gifting, spring refresh, new collection launches
Brand & Production Systems:
- Maintain and evolve the Americanflat visual identity across all channels per our brand guidelines — typography, color discipline, logo usage, photography style
- Build templates and reusable systems so high-volume asset production stays fast and consistent
- Manage and organize the asset library: product images, lifestyle photography, logos, and working files
- Retouch and color-correct product photography; prepare images to spec (resolution, file size, format) per channel requirements
What We're Looking For:
Must-haves:
- 2–4+ years of graphic design experience for an e-commerce or consumer product brand, with a portfolio that proves it
- Strong portfolio of marketplace content — Amazon listing images, infographics, and A+ Content you designed yourself
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma; strong photo compositing and retouching skills
- Sharp eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy — and the discipline to work inside a brand system without going off-script
- High-volume production comfort: you can ship many assets per week to spec and on deadline without quality slipping
- Self-directed: you can take a brief like "we need launch assets for the new gallery wall set" and come back with a complete, channel-ready kit
Nice-to-haves:
- Home goods, furniture, or décor category experience — styling rooms, not just packshots
- Motion design basics (After Effects or similar) for animated ads and GIFs
- Experience with AI image tools (Photoshop Generative Fill, Midjourney, or similar) used responsibly inside a brand system
- 3D/render experience (Blender, KeyShot) or experience working with render vendors
- Familiarity with Shopify theme assets and Klaviyo template design
- Understanding of conversion-focused design: what makes a main image win the click and an infographic close the sale
