Overview:
The Podcast Audio and Video Editor owns the full post-production lifecycle for a high-performing B2B media operation. This role blends creative execution with strategic intent—shaping raw interviews into content that drives engagement, visibility, and business outcomes.

Equal parts editor, producer, and performance analyst, this individual is responsible for distilling complex ideas into sharp, accessible video and audio experiences tailored for YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other key platforms. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of narrative structure, advanced technical capabilities, and the agility to move between long-form storytelling and short-form content creation. Key Responsibilities:
Lead editing and packaging of long-form podcast episodes for professional-grade audio and video distribution

Architect short-form content strategy, identifying high-leverage moments and crafting platform-specific assets that maximize reach and retention

Apply high-end post-production techniques including multi-cam editing, color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and mixing

Partner with producers, hosts, and content strategists to influence creative direction and editorial decisions

Oversee file management, editing pipelines, and publishing workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, or comparable tools

Manage a growing volume of content with precision and consistency across platforms and formats

Monitor performance analytics (watch time, engagement, completion rates) and adjust formats and edits accordingly

Act as a quality gatekeeper for all published media, maintaining high creative and technical standards

Collaborate with design, marketing, and demand gen teams to align media output with campaign priorities and brand tone

Propose and implement workflow optimizations, templates, and tool improvements to scale production efficiently

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in professional video/audio editing, with a portfolio spanning both long-form and short-form content

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and other editing and post-production software

Demonstrated success producing content that performs across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, especially in a B2B or thought leadership context

Strong editorial judgment and ability to turn dense topics into compelling narratives

Deep understanding of platform-specific content trends, pacing, hooks, and optimization tactics

Experience interpreting content analytics to inform creative decisions

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with speed, accuracy, and accountability

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Attributes:
Background in B2B media, content marketing, or SaaS/tech verticals

Familiarity with SEO and metadata strategies for content discovery

Experience managing or mentoring other editors or freelancers

Bias for action, systems thinking, and continuous improvement
