As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our official Discord server. This part-time, remote position requires a flexible and tech-savvy individual who can effectively manage online interactions, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive community atmosphere. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules
* Delete messages made by users that violate our community guidelines and rules
* Ban users who have multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines and rules
* Mute users who have violated our community guidelines and rules
* Investigate reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines and rules
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies
* Provide excellent customer service and support to our community members
* Stay up-to-date with the latest community guidelines and rules, and adapt to changes as needed

**Qualifications:**

* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to maintain a neutral and impartial stance in online interactions
* Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience as a Chat Moderator or in a similar role
* Knowledge of community guidelines and rules development
* Familiarity with online safety and security best practices
* Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
