**Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

* Handling incoming contacts from guests around the world, including voice, email, and chat interactions
* Processing reservation requests and supporting basic loyalty and customer care requests
* Identifying guest reservation needs and following sales techniques to maximize revenue
* Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for special booking rules and requests, loyalty guidelines, and case management
* Providing customer support through assistance and guidance in issue resolution and open communication with Marriott properties, related company contacts, and third parties
* Following all company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets
* Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guests' service needs, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation
* Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
* No related work experience is required, but a passion for customer service and a willingness to learn is essential
* A strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* A physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
* A reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 3 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload
* A physical cable plug-in (ethernet) connection

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

* Related work experience in customer service or a related field
