**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team, responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and insights, and developing actionable recommendations to drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to apply data-driven insights to inform business decisions, optimize inventory management, and drive revenue growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
* 30% Execute existing reporting and analytical tasks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights and recommendations
* 20% Use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions
* 20% Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a keen attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
* 20% Develop and maintain specialized skills and domain expertise within the core functional team
* 10% Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall business strategy
**Direct Chief/Direct Reports**
* This position reports to a Director
* This position has no immediate reports
**Travel Requirements**
* Normally requires less than 10% of the time for temporary travel
**Physical Requirements**
* Most time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about
* Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects
**Working Conditions**
* Located in a comfortable indoor area
* Any unpleasant conditions would be rare and not surprising
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
* 3 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, evaluation, or estimation
* Previous direct involvement in investigating the relevant topic (e.g., Store network, Marketing, Events, etc.)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or equivalent data set frameworks
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Familiarity with data mining and machine learning techniques
