**Key Responsibilities**

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

* Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/addressing discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
* Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity
* Analyzing complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications
* Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
* Engaging with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
* Collaborating with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to ensure seamless transactions

**Duties and Tasks**

* Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests
* Identifying and addressing Client/Advisor account exceptions
* Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
* Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
* Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
* Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
* Troubleshooting internal/external system improvements or concerns
* Identifying the root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
* Providing method or innovation service alternatives to Management
* Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
* Answering business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
* Providing follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
* Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands

**Essential Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 0-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
* Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
* Familiarity with data entry software and systems
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
