**Responsibilities**

As a Document Controller | Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing and entering data related to 401k statements within the financial services industry. Your primary duties will include:

* Reviewing and interpreting 401k statements to extract relevant data with high precision
* Entering and maintaining data in a new database with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
* Leveraging Google Docs for data entry and record management to ensure seamless collaboration and document control
* Communicating effectively with the team via Slack or similar chat platforms to ensure timely processing of documents
* Handling 7-10 documents on a daily basis, ensuring a 24-hour turnaround on processing forms
* Providing assistance with reporting needs as required to support business objectives
* Navigating complex documents comfortably and efficiently to ensure accurate data entry and management
* Working flexibly with the ability to connect on East Coast time to support a global team
* Utilizing a proprietary in-house database and PDFs for data handling and management to ensure data integrity and security

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

* Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry, with a strong understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration
* Proven proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy, including experience with proprietary databases and PDFs
* Strong experience in document control, including organizing, storing, and managing documents with attention to detail and organization
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience in data analysis and reporting
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility

**Nice-to-Haves**

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial in this role:

* Experience with cloud-based document management systems and collaboration tools
* Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
