As a Home Sewer, you will play a critical role in assembling textile materials into finished products using single needle industrial sewing machines.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Home Sewer to work from home, assembling different types of textile materials into finished products using single needle industrial sewing machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production sewing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate will be required to pick up and drop off work orders from our location in Wylie, TX (Zipcode: 75098).

**Responsibilities**

As a Home Sewer, your key responsibilities will include:

* Assembling different types of textile materials into finished products using single needle industrial sewing machines
* Meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality products on time
* Maintaining quality control and taking appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision
* Identifying components and workings of sewing machine and performing basic daily maintenance
* Inspecting products for defects
* Knowledge of materials and ability to work with different types of fabrics

**Preferred Skills**

While not required, the following skills are highly desirable:

* Creating patterns and designs for sewing projects
* Experience with sewing tactical gear and leather products
* Fluency in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)
* Sewing medium to heavyweight fabric nylon products
* Program and advanced troubleshooting of industrial sewing machines
* Pattern making/Drafting on paper and/or CAD
* Veteran Military, Law Enforcement, and/or First Responder experience
* Experience with firearms, MILSIM, Airsoft, MILSIM Paintball, Simunition, and UTM
