About the Job

As a local truck driver at blithequark, you will be responsible for operating a dedicated truck, running approximately 600 miles per day, and performing drop and hook work for our valued customers. Your day will typically begin and end at our terminal in Liverpool, NY, ensuring that you are home every night with your loved ones. With a consistent weekly schedule and minimal changes, you can expect a predictable and stable work environment.

We understand the importance of having a comfortable and reliable vehicle, which is why we provide our drivers with 2014 or newer Freightliners and Western Stars. Additionally, we do not practice slip seating, so you can enjoy the comfort and familiarity of your own dedicated truck.

Core Responsibilities

As a local truck driver at blithequark, your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Conducting thorough inspections of your vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
Being available for work at all times to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules
Submitting customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports
Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations
Engaging in daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations

Hiring Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

Hold a valid Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (E) No Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (O) No Semi Trailer, or (K) Intrastate Only
Have a minimum of 12 months of tractor-trailer experience
