Job Summary

The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and sustaining coverage, providing departmental insights on performance, and creating data models to solve various quantitative tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and execute ad-hoc reporting to support business processes and data-driven decision making, utilizing tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Design and implement robust Data Quality standards and controls to ensure data integrity and access.
  • Manage and create new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
  • Collaborate with Monitoring and Business Analysts to understand organizational needs, maintain comprehensive documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architecture, utilizing records storytelling principles to generate clear and impactful data visualizations.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and acquire new data variables, leveraging data mining techniques to drive business insights.
  • Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and trends, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Vigorously evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, resolving discrepancies and validating data for accuracy.
  • Research and remediate data errors, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Participate in the Data Governance program, updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 2+ years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis, with a strong background in data modeling, reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, with experience working with various reporting objects, such as Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Computed Columns, transformations, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, and interactions.
  • Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create reports and analytics.
  • Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations.
  • Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methodologies.
  • Problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical analysis and working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query.
  • Experience with Smartsheets, with the ability to manage and track multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
