About the Role

As a Senior Learning Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of up to 30 Customer Support Associates, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Your primary focus will be on creating an optimal adult learning environment, both in-person and virtually, that encourages long-term success and drives business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise structured learning metrics and oversee results for assigned territories and regions, driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage live performance metrics end-to-end for assigned territories, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
  • Design and deliver engaging learning sessions on new processes, as well as various training courses for continuous learning, new hire batches, and transfer batches.
  • Maintain and analyze data through reports on Excel, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely completion of new hire training programs, coaching, and other performance improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders as a key point of contact for the Learning Experience team, driving collaborative efforts.
  • Identify and certify learning coaches, empowering them to drive learning excellence.
  • Lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance, leveraging data and analytics.
  • Drive quality and learning metrics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct Chime sessions and classroom sessions for stakeholders, delivering impactful learning experiences.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in training delivery roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or customer service-related work, providing a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Proficient computer skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), as well as instructional software.
  • Highly accurate and fluent in Japanese and English, both spoken and written.
  • Flexibility to work within a 24/7 x 365 days global team across various time zones.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, content design, and facilitation, with a passion for creating engaging learning experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position, with a deep understanding of the learning landscape.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to supervise multiple projects simultaneously.
