Key Responsibilities:

Finance Operations & Systems:

Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

Support and progressively take ownership of ASC 606 revenue recognition and subscription accounting

Implement and optimize enterprise finance software (NetSuite, Bill.com, CRM, SaaS billing platforms) with path to financial systems ownership

Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations on key business initiatives

Compliance & Controls Leadership:

Assist with coordination of audit and tax processes, managing external audit and tax relationships

Design and implement robust internal controls over financial reporting

Work directly with Controller on compliance with sales & use tax, franchise tax, and regulatory requirements

Develop and maintain comprehensive accounting policies and procedures

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare comprehensive financial packages and provide analytical insights to senior leadership

Develop business analysis that supports key decisions and growth initiatives

Assist Director of FP&A with budgeting and forecasting

Collaborate with RevOps on incentive compensation

Treasury & Process Improvement:

Optimize accounts payable and receivable processes, payment systems, and collections management

Support banking relationships and treasury functions

Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned

Requirements:

CPA with accounting firm experience plus 1+ years industry experience, preferably in SaaS/technology or high-growth environments

Experienced in US GAAP (ASC 606 knowledge a bonus),

Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise financial systems (ERP, CRM, billing platforms), reporting, and compliance

Advanced Excel skills, financial modeling

Demonstrated strategic mindset, growth orientation, and process optimization

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Comfort with AI and able to display applicable usages across the finance organization
