Full-time

Laurel is on a mission to return time. As the leading AI Time platform for professional services firms, we’re transforming how organizations capture, analyze, and optimize their most valuable resource: time. Our proprietary machine learning technology automates work time capture and connects time data to business outcomes, enabling firms to increase profitability, improve client delivery, and make data-driven strategic decisions. We serve many of the world's largest accounting and law firms, including EY, Grant Thornton, and Latham & Watkins, and process over 1 billion work activities annually that have never been collected and aggregated before Laurel’s AI Time platform.

Our team comprises top talent in AI, product development, and engineering—innovative, humble, and forward-thinking professionals committed to redefining productivity in the knowledge economy. We're building solutions that empower workers to deliver twice the value in half the time, giving people more time to be creative and impactful. If you're passionate about transforming how people work and building a lasting company that explores the essence of time itself, we'd love to meet you.

We’re building a generational company. To do so, we’re assembling a world-class team - and we’re looking for a Founding BD Representative to lead the charge on outbound pipeline creation.

About the Role:

This is not a high-volume, “spray and pray” role. You’ll own a curated list of high-priority enterprise accounts and work closely with AEs, marketing, and leadership to craft thoughtful, personalized outreach strategies across multiple channels - both digital and offline. You’ll be expected to bring creativity and experimentation to the role, finding novel ways to cut through the noise and engage senior decision-makers.

Success is measured by pipeline generated and closed-won revenue - we care about outcomes, not just activity. You’ll collaborate closely with the broader sales and marketing teams to align messaging, refine account strategies, and optimize for conversion.

This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to the executive team and the opportunity to build out a function from scratch.

What You’ll Do:

Own outbound pipeline generation across a defined set of enterprise accounts

Design and execute personalized, multi-threaded outreach strategies - including offline tactics to break through

Collaborate with AEs and marketing on account research, messaging, and strategic campaigns

Work hand-in-hand with marketing on our inbound engine, qualifying and converting interest into active pipeline

Own pre- and post-event strategy for curated roundtables, executive dinners, and industry trade shows

Implement and optimize AI-driven tools (e.g., Clay, ChatGPT, Attention) to scale what works

Bring an AI-first mindset - actively seek ways to eliminate manual work, improve team efficiency, and elevate the end-to-end prospect experience

Track performance, learn quickly, and feed insights back into the GTM motion

Help shape Laurel’s outbound playbook and define what great looks like

What We’re Looking For:

2–4+ years of relevant experience in enterprise outbound or from management consulting, legal, or investment banking

Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen

Creativity and curiosity - you’re eager to test new ideas, channels, and formats

High drive and comfort with cold calling, high-touch follow-up, and direct outreach

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Collaborative and team-oriented — thrives in cross-functional environments

Entrepreneurial mindset — excited to build from scratch and operate with ownership

Based in NYC or open to working from our NYC office 5 days per week

Why Laurel:

Build and own a critical GTM function at one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in the country

High visibility and direct access to executive leadership

Opportunity to shape the role, the motion, and the team over time

Join a team with deep expertise scaling breakout companies like Dropbox, Templafy, and Ramp

Competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and a high-talent, high-ownership culture

Flexibility and Logistics:

Location: This role will be based in our New York office onsite 5 days a week

Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary, generous equity, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage with covered  premiums, 401(k), additional benefits including wellness/commuter/FSA stipends
