This is not a generic editing role.
We’re building a high-volume YouTube content engine focused on business, entrepreneurship, cinematic storytelling, and premium visual production.
Think:
Casey Neistat meets Daniel Dalen.
We’re looking for editors who think like creators — people who understand storytelling, pacing, retention, emotion, and modern YouTube strategy.
You will own:
• Long-form YouTube editing
• Short-form content creation
• Retention editing
• Cinematic cold opens
• Story-driven narratives
• Repurposing raw footage into engaging content
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve Studio
• Experience using Frame.io workflows
• Experience editing business/entrepreneurship content
• Portfolio with videos generating hundreds of thousands to millions of views
• Strong retention editing skills
• Fast turnaround times
• Strong storytelling instincts
BONUS IF YOU:
• Have cinematic storytelling experience
• Understand YouTube trends and strategy
• Can color grade
• Use AI editing tools to improve workflows
• Think proactively and contribute creatively
COMPENSATION:
$5,000–$7,000/month
Full-time contractor role
If you’ve only edited gaming clips, podcasts, or basic talking-head content, this is probably not the role for you.
