Join UChicago Medicine, as a Graphic Design Specialist in our Communications and Public Affairs department.  
    
In this role, the Graphic Design Specialist uses AI tools to create scalable print and digital content. The role involves managing projects and ensuring brand consistency and ethical AI use. 
  
Essential Job Functions  
Design and produce scalable marketing materials for print and digital channels, including physician-focused and broader campaign assets. 
Integrate AI-powered design tools ethically and effectively into the creative workflow. 
Adapt designs for various platforms and audiences to support marketing and communications initiatives. 
Maintain and organize digital asset libraries, ensuring easy access and version control. 
 
Required Qualifications  
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or related field 
Proven experience in marketing design, preferably in healthcare or related industries 
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and ethical considerations 
Strong portfolio demonstrating design versatility and quality 
Knowledge of brand standards and marketing principles 
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) 
Experience with AI design tools integration 
Strong visual and conceptual design skills 
Ability to adapt designs for multiple platforms and audiences 
Effective communication and collaboration skills

Compensation & Benefits Overview

 

UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits.  The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.

 

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
