Help Desk Specialist-Canonsburg, PA
Preferred Primary Care Physicians is currently recruiting for a full-time Help Desk Specialist to join the IT Department at their Central Administrative Office. The role involves providing desktop support, configuring and deploying PCs, and assisting employees with technical issues both onsite and remotely.
Responsibilities
- Configuration and deployment of PCs to meet company standard
- Desktop support including Microsoft Office, various Microsoft operating systems and other software applications
- Support of multi-location networks and wireless access points
- Onsite and remote support of company employees
- Virus/malware removal
- Hardware diagnosis, repairs and upgrades
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum one year experience in a help desk environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent preferred
