HR Coordinator (Hybrid)
NFP, an Aon company, is a recognized leader in Business Insurance and is looking for an HR Coordinator to support their Eastern Region HR team. The role involves managing onboarding and offboarding processes, assisting with employee engagement initiatives, and collaborating with HR leaders to enhance HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure employee inquiries are answered and/or properly routed when applicable in a timely and caring manner
- Assist HR Generalists and Coordinators with ad hoc projects, onboarding and offboarding duties, and employee culture initiatives as needed
- Work alongside Internship Program Manager for regional intern program which includes entering roles, onboarding and offboarding interns
- Assist with employee engagement events such as local and regional events
- Own either the onboarding or offboarding process alongside the other HR Coordinator on the team
- Assist with ordering and maintaining employee swag for new hires, anniversaries and other events
- Work closely with the HR Generalist of the Eastern Region as well as other members of HR team out in the field
- Act as backup for HR Generalists and other Coordinator(s) as needed
- Occasionally visit local offices for event support. If local to NYC, weekly to monthly office attendance for events is preferred

- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Smartsheet experience required. Prior experience with HRIS systems is a plus
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- Experience: 1–2 years of administrative or human resources experience preferred
