The Role:

We’re looking for a mid-level IT Engineer to help scale and secure our internal systems as we grow. This role blends IT operations, security, and engineering, and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving day-to-day technical challenges while also building automation and improving systems over time.

You’ll play a key role in supporting employees, managing devices and identity systems, and strengthening our security posture—while contributing to a more efficient and scalable IT environment.

What You’ll Do

Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, laptop provisioning and access control across systems

Administer and maintain Google Workspace (users, groups, policies, and security settings)

Own and operate MDM solutions to manage and secure company devices

Monitor device health and enforce security and compliance standards

Triage and respond to security vulnerabilities, alerts, and incidents

Partner with engineering to remediate vulnerabilities and improve security posture

Provide technical support and resolve internal IT issues (Tier 2 escalation)

Write scripts and tools (Python, Bash) to automate IT and security workflows

Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting

Support audits and compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA)

About You:

Must Have’s:

3–5 years of experience in IT, security, or infrastructure engineering

Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf, JumpCloud, or similar)

Strong Apple/Windows administration and troubleshooting skills

Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or similar)

Experience identifying and triaging security vulnerabilities

Strong understanding of identity and access management (SSO, IAM, RBAC)

Solid troubleshooting skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Experience with Vanta or a similar compliance and trust management platform" would fit well in the nice to have section

Exposure to security tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners)

Experience administering Google Workspace in a business environment

IT Certifications: CCNA, A+, Google Cloud, Azure, AWS, etc

Experience with automation, APIs, or infrastructure-as-code

Interest in improving systems through automation and scalable design

How You Work

You take ownership of your work and follow through on commitments

You can work independently when required

You look for ways to automate and improve processes, not just maintain them

You’re comfortable balancing day-to-day support with longer-term improvements

You collaborate effectively across teams, including engineering and security

You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
