Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Junior Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our data analysis capabilities. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from data entry to complex business transformations, and end-user reporting.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business processes and provide analytical support
• Utilizing coding skills to analyze complex datasets and design, develop, and evaluate data transformations to solve specific business problems
• Building flexible, efficient, and automated data processes to facilitate client-facing reporting
• Automating business processes to streamline operations
• Communicating insights and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science
• 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/numerical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling, data analysis tools, and techniques, and parameters that influence their performance
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science
• Experience in a machine learning or data scientist role with a large technology company
