Modality: Hybrid (office in Alajuela near the airport)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm CST


What you’ll be doing:

Assisting with onboarding and new hire orientation activities

Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data

Supporting payroll and benefits administration under supervision

Responding to employee inquiries regarding policies and benefits

Partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to create a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for new team members

Assisting in the organization of internal events, celebrations, or recognition programs

Learning to partner with management on basic employee relations issues

Assisting with regulatory compliance documentation

Supporting the exit process by coordinating offboarding checklists and documentation


What you have:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field

0–2 years of experience in human resources or related area

Basic knowledge of Costa Rican labor laws and HR policies

Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal)

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with good organizational skills

Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills

Proactive attitude—you seek answers, offer help, and take initiative

High sense of responsibility and confidentiality when handling sensitive information

What will make you stand out:

Prior experience in HR or administrative support roles

Familiarity with Rippling HRIS or similar systems

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

Clear and empathetic communicator who listens well and follows up

Friendly and approachable demeanor with a natural service mindset

Positive and collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to a fun and respectful workplace
