Noom is a consumer-led digital health company on a mission to help people live better, longer. They are seeking a Junior Scrum Master to support agile delivery, assist in running key ceremonies, and promote a culture of agility and continuous improvement within teams.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies for cross-functional teams, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews
  • Support Technical Leads and Product Managers in maintaining and organizing backlogs
  • Assist in monitoring sprint health using Jira and other tools to track velocity, blockers, and delivery trends
  • Promote best practices in Agile methodologies and help identify areas for process improvement
  • Encourage collaboration, communication, and transparency across teams
  • Escalate issues and dependencies appropriately and assist with resolving blockers
  • Help prepare and share relevant updates to stakeholders on team progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment across the broader engineering organization
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to support project execution
  • Coordinate efforts across distributed teams (including iOS, Android, full stack) throughout the full software development lifecycle

Skills

  • Up to 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Coordinator, or in a related role
  • Foundational understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum and/or Kanban) and agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a collaborative working style
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience or coursework related to software or digital product development is a plus
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is a plus
