Key Account Manager, EMEA
Summary
The Key Account Manager (KAM) – EMEA is responsible for building, retaining, and expanding relationships with ProFarm's highest-value clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This remote, Europe-based role serves as the primary point of contact for major accounts, driving strategic growth while ensuring seamless cross-functional delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management Act as the primary, trusted point of contact for major clients, preventing churn and proactively mitigating client escalations or complaints.
Strategic Growth Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling products and services that align with clients' long-term objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with internal departments — marketing, product development, logistics, and finance — to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and timely fulfillment of client needs.
Sales & Revenue Tracking Manage client budgets, negotiate contract terms, and oversee account profitability.
Data Analysis & Reporting Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and use metrics to prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
Location: Based in Europe, with ability to work remotely and travel as needed across the EMEA region
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in the agriculture industry, including at least 5 years as a large strategic/key account manager
Education: Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Communication: Exceptional presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills
Analytical Skills: Comfort interpreting data and using sales dashboards and reporting tools
Negotiation: Demonstrated track record of resolving complex problems and successfully negotiating contracts
