  • Compensation: Competitive salary ($19.45/hour) with differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Job Summary:

We are looking for a team player who is committed to working safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. As a Manufacturing Helper, you will be responsible for feeding material into machines, stacking finished product, glue/assembly of paper products, banding pallets, and shrink-wrapping for shipment. You will also be expected to work closely with other production personnel to identify opportunities for improving safety and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Work safely and follow company rules to maintain a safe workplace
  • Feed material into machines, stack finished product, and perform other tasks as assigned
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shop environment, following 5S Standards
  • Collaborate with other team members to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste
  • Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug test
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, and bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. for extended periods
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment
  • Machine operator experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Access
